Chanda received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Washington University and her Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Washington University in 1998. She has bee working with children and adolescents in the clinic, home, preschool, and outpatient hospital settings for over 20 years. She has also worked as a clinical supervisor for graduate students for Ohio University, Eastern Washington University, and Washington State University. In 2004, Chanda moved back to Spokane from southern California opened Milestones Pediatric Therapy, PLLC. Chanda is a certified DIR/Floortime Level II Practioner. She is also PROMPT Level II certified. Additional certifications include Advanced Therapeutic Listening and Integrated Listening Systems (iLs). She has obtained numerous continuing education hours in the areas of trauma informed therapy, central auditory processing, childhood apraxia of speech, early speech and language development, social communication, play, and pragmatic language development. She enjoys giving back to the community and currently serves on the Elevations Board of Directors. In her spare time, Chanda enjoys helping with home improvement projects, taking road trips, spending time with friends, listening to live music, and exploring the outdoors in nearly every way possible with her husband and 3 children.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree through Eastern Washington University and attended graduate school at Washington State University, where she received her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders. Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work with pediatric and young adult clients across a wide variety of settings, including birth-3 centers, preschools, public schools, hospitals, private practice, and nonprofit and outpatient clinics. Michelle has worked with Boards of Directors and administration to grow programs in both nonprofit and private therapy centers, and she enjoyed several terms as adjunct faculty at the WSU/EWU University Program in Communication Disorders in Spokane providing clinical supervision to graduate students and teaching a graduate course in phonological acquisition. Michelle is PROMPT trained and became a Certified Hanen Instructor early in her career. Areas of current special interest include early speech and language development, language processing, motor speech disorders, social-pragmatic communication skills, clinical supervision and mentoring, and parent education. Michelle is passionate about working with families to help them learn how to best facilitate their child's communication development and she enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of professionals to treat children using a team-based approach. When not at work, Michelle enjoys hiking, gardening and creative writing, but mostly loves spending time with her husband, children and extended family. Michelle was delighted to join the team at Milestones in 2017.
